No football today, I did not realise until looking this morning that CSKA had such a good away record and Inter may not be the shoo in to win tonight that the odds suggest. Lyon won last night as I thought, more comfortably than I thought actually and United I watched and thought they were poor, they are good at Old Trafford in Europe but with Robben back for Bayern they will have to improve, I expect Chelsea took a lot of heart from last nights game before the big clash on Saturday. Tomorrow will be rant time again, I went to bed at 11 last night and got up again because I could not sleep not going back to bed until about 4.30am so I am a bit knackered. What kept me awake? Another day of senseless emails, they were just whirring around in my head for hours, some actually getting me quite wound up, hence I am going to take a day and form balanced thought out answers which will appear here tomorrow. Many tell me to ignore them but I feel it only fair to answer them as it hopefully enables a few to learn from what I say (not that I am any kind of infallible person) but I do have a fair idea of what I am doing. My answer to them which hopefully will provide an education will be another rant tomorrow aimed at extolling numerous myths people have about making money. On the other side I have had a couple of great emails this week from people doing well so do not think it is all bad. Betfair Bullion (there were some issues raised in mail to me which I will tackle also in tomorrows post at the moment I am only focusing on does it make money) I followed exactly as the manual indicated yesterday and lost a tiny amount – about £25 – using £100 stakes ( paper trading). Those who have it see it focuses on jumps racing, I checked the fixtures yesterday and there is jump racing all through the summer so those with concerns that it is no good until the winter do not need to worry. I would be careful at the moment with small fields and abandonments as the weather kicks in again to ruin racing but I will follow it exactly as the manual states. Another win for Daves trial lay yesterday on a right roll he is, just wish he would tell us more details I feel it is becoming painful hanging on to see what his membership etc options are. Owing to my lack of sleep I will add results for yesterday and today to tomorrows post so those with it can see exactly how I have followed it, I do think it has potential but more on that tomorrow.
Ten Minute cash launched today by the same old crew, Ryan Gibbs et al so one to avoid, I have not seen it and do not need to, knowing the source it will not work I very much doubt.
Before the rant tomorrow, newcomers to the blog may want to take the time going back through past posts on the blog to see some of the things I have talked about before. I know a few have found the blog useful. My overriding thought process through doing this blog, reading systems and gamblers emails is there is only one quality you need and it is mindset. Tomorrow you will be staggered by a couple of numbers I give you of profit, that many had the chance to make since last year but have not or could not be bothered to do so, and the only reason why they have not is because of poor, short sighted mindset.
