FX Sundays – Review Update 27th June

If this is your first time reading about FX Sundays, Click here to see the initial review posting.

A difficult week again this week as the markets remained rangebound for the first couple of days and that caused us to rack up quite a few losses. We then had the expected breakouts resulting in some nice returns but overall it was a bad losing week. Read the rest of this entry »

FX Sundays – Review Update 18th June

If this is your first time reading about FX Sundays, Click here to see the initial review posting.

Another really simple week this week. Much like last week I’m all done on the Monday with a couple of really nice trades giving a great overall profit. It’s possible to continue taking trades after that but I prefer to set targets and stop once I hit them and the author suggests the same. Read the rest of this entry »

FX Sundays – Review update 11th June

If this is your first time reading about FX Sundays, Click here to see the initial review posting.

Week 1:

A rough start to the trial (isn’t that always the way) with a bad losing week. As it happens the fairly conservative trade management rules that I settled on for the review really cost me overall but I will keep doing it as I am for now because that was what I settled on at the start. I will update in the future with what the results would be using more aggressive trade management rules. Read the rest of this entry »

FX Sundays – Review

This is the first time I’ve done a review for a trading product on this website. I avoid the majority of things that get sent to me because in all honesty most of it’s rubbish and comes from people who are system sellers rather than profitable traders. Read the rest of this entry »

Price Action With Supply and Demand

I call the trading strategy that I use the “PASD” strategy, which stands for “price action supply and demand”. Whilst I use supply and demand levels exclusively to enter my trades, I always try to analyse the price action to make sure I’m getting into the market at good times and in good areas. What to do When it All Goes Wrong

When disaster strikes

What should we do as traders when it all goes wrong? No matter how much testing you do, how much work you put in and how closely you follow your trading plan, from time to time you will hit a horrible run of results and have your confidence tested. Read the rest of this entry »

Trading Psychology

I imagine that just about everyone who’s reading this will have been told at some point that psychology is the most important factor when it comes to successful trading. You even hear people say things like “90% of trading comes down to psychology, only 10% is strategy” or something along those lines. Over the next few weeks I’m going to be doing some articles and videos for the members area covering my view of trading psychology but I thought I would do a blog post about it here just to give a quick overview. Patience and Boredom

This is perhaps a strange subject to be looking at on a website that’s aimed at new traders or people that have been consistently losing since they’ve started trading, but I think it’s actually a very important thing to consider.

My opinion would be that successful trading by it’s very nature should be boring. When you’re starting out it can be very exciting, you’re finding new methods, testing new ideas, having lots of ups and downs, and generally more than once you will think you’ve cracked it only to end up back at square one. Market Randomness

Introduction

I’ve been wanting to write on this subject for a while because it’s one of my favourite subjects to talk about within trading. It’s also a slightly controversial thing to talk about in my experience because a lot of people don’t agree! Read the rest of this entry »
